Amtrak May Be Expanding Jacksonville service

The Jacksonville-Orlando-Tampa line has two daily round trips and the Tampa-Miami line would include three daily round trips.

Currently, Amtrak offers only one round trip connecting Tampa and Jacksonville and only one for Tampa and Miami.

This is one that we've been talking a lot about here.  It will happen before commuter rail becomes a remote feasibility locally. It would be good for further coordination with intercity rail services being proposed to include Northeast Florida locations.
