Have been there several times and it's a great little city. So clean, and that shows in your pictures. Also just a short drive up the hill to some wonderful skiing (Park City et al).

Seems quite empty? Was that just owing to the time you were taking pics or maybe the pandemic?

It looks very nice. I've never been to SLC, but when I worked dispatching maintenance for 7-Eleven stores many, many years ago, I thought it was weird how the city numbered its streets.

It was a holiday weekend for them as they were celebrating Pioneer's Day. With that said, it seemed to be more vibrant than DT Jax but also felt significantly smaller than Jax. Much of what they had was really clustered together. Also being a Delta hub, had a much larger airport.

^ maybe they were out mourning the demise of the Great Salt Lake - which is quickly shrinking like the Dead Sea in Israel.
