In honor of the contributions and sacrifices that the Pearson family has made in the effort to make Jacksonville a more inclusive and equitable environment for all, the Jacksonville Historic Preservation Commission unanimously approved a recommendation to pursue the designation of the 106-year-old Pearson residence as a local historic landmark.
