Just saying, bad comparison for those that want to make the traffic argument. Houston and Jacksonville are two different tier cities. I was somewhat impress with the "town center" area during my visit there from Houston. Good food and good stores. Only thing it is missing is some type of people mover connecting the university to the mall to the different apartments and businesses in the area. Also seemed kind of weird that there were no parking garages anywhere considering the volume of cars.
