One interesting thing I see...the main rendering doesn't really take into account the current Skyway infrastructure or the off and on proposed no-frills stop at Leila. How does that work?

This grant is for the design, not for the actual restoration. So, with the money the city has budgeted how much actual restoration work will be done?

The design will be implemented by COJ which has budgeted approximately $60 million over the next three years for planning and construction.

What isn't in the article is the preliminary cost estimate for this phase.  How much of the former TU building will need to be torn down to accomplish the "daylighting" of the creek?  I am sure Demo Lenny will find the money to knock down another building ... the other parts of the plan?
