Had to skip September. I'm like Project Maximus right now. I'm working full time in Orlando for a few months and splitting time between there and Jax. The one Saturday marked for the construction update ended being rained out.

Anybody know what is going on at the empty lot bordered by W Adams St and N Davis St in Lavilla?

What corner? The Lofts of Monroe will be built on the empty block bounded by Adams, Davis, Monroe and Lee streets.

Lol, like FSU's upcoming beat down, the Gators can witness some Hurricane Coral Gables jewelry all over their field too!

Oh, that must be what I saw. Thanks. They were moving dirt around when I drove by. For some reason I had merged that project with Houston Street Manor in my head.

It's October. No San Marco Publix.  "The District" has not started yet? Baptist Credit Union site has an "Available " sign up all of a sudden.
Jackson Square apparently ON HOLD. Rubin's project on Atlantic ??

Catastrophic flooding on San Marco Blvd.

Lake what's going on man?

Sounds like a Noone post to me.

Yes, according to today's Jax Daily Record, their permit to start was recently approved. So another decent sized multifamily project is now under construction.

Lol I'm not sure who I'm rooting for tmrw. It's bad vs ugly. It might be fun seeing some Noles fans crying at Doak so maybe for one week let's go Canes!

Well, since this thread has been revived, does anyone know what the three new buildings are in front of Academy Sports near Atlantic and Kernan?  I can't seem to find any info.

Thanks.

ha ha ha.Amazingly, still watching this carnage.

Yes I am, dammit!

How about $50 donation? Sox win(ba ha ha ha), you donate to the Jimmy Fund.

and since I will be losing, just let me know who to donate to.....

That is noble of you to stick by your team when the ship is sinking. I choose the Ritz Chamber Music Society:

QuoteSpeaking of Atlantic North, MedExpress is building a standalone urgent care center there at the corner of Atlantic and Kernan. No timeline has been given for its construction or opening, but CCS Construction has the contract for the $750,000, 4,564-square-foot building.

MedExpress already has one location under construction at 7720 Merrill Road, where an Arthur Murray Dance Studio once stood. That will open Aug. 23. The company is planning a third Jacksonville location downtown, but has not released that address.

All clinics will be open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. seven days a week and offer a variety of urgent care, employer health, basic wellness and prevention services.

They employ about 20 people at each location.

Atlantic North is anchored by Belk, Earth Fare, Academy Sports + Outdoors and L.A. Fitness.

Thanks, Max.  Any idea about the other two?  They look like they could be fast food establishments, but we can't see any signage.
