I mean... yeah.

They're expanding a major highway without shutting down said highway on a schedule they don't necessarily have to rush. Why wouldn't they still be working on I-295? Isn't it supposed to be done by either the end of this year or early next year?
So, to the young people fighting in this movement for change, here is my charge: march in the streets, protest, run for school committee or city council or the state legislature. And win. - Ed Markey

Yeah.  I heard they plan to stop working on it when they are finished.

You mean there are trees they have not removed yet near the roadway?

Well, that's just outrageous.  How can they get away with that?

I hear they're building walls to keep out the people that would stop them.

And maybe also noise, or something.

Mexico better have paid for those walls too. I don't want any filthy Mandarins crossing I-295 and getting into.....uh, Mandarin north.

This was supposed to be done end of 2016 but there were a ton of delays with weather, a contractor issue as well as a construction worker was killed when a crane lifting a noise barrier wall fell on the worker.  The spokesman for FDOT said end of summer this year at the earliest.
