I can't wait! It's is amazing how much commercial development is happening all at once in Springfield. Why did it take so long for people to realize the potential on Main Street? Has it recently become easier to get financing up there? Or is it a spill over effect of San Marco and Riverside/Avondale being built out and the rent climbing?

Update: they've changed locations due to unforeseen costs at the previously planned site. Still on Main Street, near south west corner of 8th & Main, directly next to Hyperion Brewing Co and across from Crispy's.

Lease just signed.

Update - they've changed the name to 1748 Bake House and working to open early 2019.

Today's the grand opening.

Had a sneak peak - great atmosphere, attention to detail & obviously food quality. They have a big following for a reason.

Open 8am-4pm, Tuesday-Saturday and 9am-3pm Sunday. Breakfast, lunch, dessert & take home goods.

Still operating at Riverside Arts Market on Saturdays, as well.

Stopped by today. It was great. Try the mushroom and cheese turnover!
