The construction fencing for the MOHS site on park street has been removed.  Not sure if this project is officially dead or just dying?  I'm hoping they got approached by a buyer with better plans for the building.

Not a fan of being granted the demo permit without everything in order to begin construction. I feel like they should be issued in tandem. The buildings on the site weren't amazing, but at least habitable.

A little off topic but doesn't Fidelity own the old Fire Station in Riverside near their headquarters?

Do they have plans for it? Anyone have any insider info on the future of that structure?

I assume they would have a hard time getting permission to knock it down.

I believe they can probably knock it down whenever they wish.  They won that battle a few years back.

I wouldn't be surprised if the property is back on the market within the next month.

There has been some activity at the MOHS site this week. Does anybody have any idea what is going on with this project?

Two speakers at the 6/21/17 DIA Board meeting during Public Comment spoke about positive action on our Waterways in our 2014-560 CRA/DIA zone. #8 Coastline Dr. Is supposed to cut off the pilings in the water at the deeper depths that would allow fishing from a watercraft. Let's all hope that hasn't changed. How many pilings will be saved? Let's get a pool started on that one. Seriously.

Talked with some of the construction guys and the ADA Sydney Gefen kayak launch should be open next month. Very positive. Even a DIA guy at
the 6/21/17 talked about the ADA component after the meeting.
