I remember hearing recently that it was dangerous because it was right by San Jose Blvd. It was barricaded for a short while because it was thought to be dangerous. It's close to the road as a consequence of the widening of San Jose. It's been like such for a long time now however, and there doesn't seem to have been any problems.

Definitely too close on the left side of the front parking row.  A vehicle almost has to back out into the street just to leave.

What makes it bad is that there is parking in the rear of that building.  You can see it by moving to the far right of the building.  They didn't need the building to be that far forward and close to the road.

The shopping center is close to the road as a consequence of road widening. When it was built in the 60s the road was narrower and it wasn't as close to the road.

Seems simple. Take out 3 parking spots and make it one way to the right so cars can only exit on San Jose at the drive closest to the road.

Overstreet

The accidents at that corner are people on San Jose not stopping for the red light. Or people using the car in front of them to stop them at the red light.
