Found the long standing USPS blue box on the corner of Park and Goodwin locked today :-[ That box is very convenient for our neighborhood--will miss it. Not sure where another one is.

I work for the Post Office I wasn't aware they could be locked. Is it possible it is just jammed?

MissMinda

I use that box every week. I hope it was just jammed.

ChriswUfGator

I use that box weekly, that would suck.

UPDATE:
I checked it yesterday. Just as I suspected, it was only jammed. Feel free to drop your mail into it.

Hi everyone. FYI, the box is jammed again. I'll report it to my supervisor this afternoon. Hopefully, a work order will be put in to fix it.

Steve

This is the best customer service I've seen from USPS in a LONG time.

We're not all lazy government employees. Who am I kidding? Yes we are. I just take pride in my customer service.

^Good work! What would be more impressive is if you had created your account just to handle this issue.

Oh no! Then the higher-ups would expect that kind of initiative on a daily basis. Gotta set the bar low!

My mailman is great. He usually can tell we aren't home and stashes any packages safely, plus he gives me tips on working on my old truck.

+1 the mailman at my office building (whiteway) and my house 4 blocks away is awesome. He replaced a guy named Gary who died in a motorcycle accident but was awesome. He would bring my dogs treats and we'd always get him Christmas presents. I know all the public employee jokes are funny, and sometimes true (especially DOT...nowhere else do you see 5 guys leaning on shovels watching 1 guy work), but the mail guys in riverside are awesome.
