QuoteGoogle Chrome

Google (GOOG) said it would be launching Chrome in 100 countries, but it will only be in beta in Windows (Google said Mac and Linux versions were coming soon).

The move by the search giant, although the blog does not say so, is clearly a direct shot over the bow of Microsoft (MSFT), which dominates the browser market with 74 percent share.

It is available for download here: http://www.google.com/chrome

Does it have a special button specially designed for the totalitarian states to properly screen content?  KNowing googles pandering to the Chicoms, figured it must have been designed in.

I used Chrome for the first two workdays of this week and found it just OK. Im now back to good ole FireFox and its sometimes annoying flash bugs. Maybe when Chrome is finally available for the MAC Ill try it out again.

For now, I say stick with FireFox.

I don't think chrome was aimed at MAC users, I think their page says it was developed for vista/xp users

Correct, there is no MAC version yet, I was on my work PC. My personal computer is a MAC.

I tried it out on 1 page, and uninstalled it, slow, unorganized, and a waste of time. I'll still with FF3.
