Even the traditional sources of gold and silver coins are dry, with back orders piling up.

Apparently silver eagle coins are on backlog for at least two months.

Recently a fairly anonymous man went from store to store buying all the 100 ounce bars of silver that were available in the city.

Apparently the trend is nationwide.
