Robbery at The Loop

I received a text last night informing me that there was a robbery Wednesday night at The Loop in San Marco around 11PM. Approx. $600 was taken at gunpoint. Anyone else have any info? Nothing in the news so far.

JACKSONVILLE, FL -- People out for lunch in San Marco Square found it hard to believe one of their favorite restaurants was the victim of an armed robbery.

But it was Wednesday night at closing time, two employees were taking out the trash behind the Loop Restaurant when three men armed with a handgun forced the employees back inside and demanded they empty the safe.

The three men grabbed up the money and the employees cell phones, telling them to stay on the floor and took off. Loop management said today it is just grateful no one was hurt.
