Shooting in San Marco Square?

I really have vitually NO INFO on this, but Im hearing from a couple of people that there was a shooting in San Marco Square last night and that police had the area roped off.

Does anyone have any clue what happened?

There was a guy on a bike that got creamed by a truck on Atlantic a few blocks from the square.

Wow, thats way different than a shooting. I guess people are now expecting every police scene to involve a shooting.

The current state of our city has a lot of people thinking this way.  I was in a 5 Points business the other day and a crazy looking guyâ€"no shirt on, long, dirty hair, etc.â€"came in and started to ask the girl behind the counter a question, and I was totally ready for him to pull out a knife or something, and, because he did not notice me at all, to have to tackle him to the ground.  I don’t need this stress!

He was just asking for directions, but the way he kind of flew in there and how he said "Let me ask you a question" made him sketchy.  And that's my point, he was only "sketchy" and, a few months or years ago, I would not have given him more than 2 seconds consideration-- Jax has just got me on edge recently.
