The bandstand is more like rehab, correct? That is not NEW 100% construction?

Silver does look good, as does a majority of the EAST WEST SIDE OF MAIN STREET. How does the WEST EAST SIDE of MAIN STREET compare? Perhaps a great comparison of photos and progress would go a long way to showing the changes of Springfield.
And, that $115 will save Jacksonville from financial ruin. - Mayor John Peyton

"This is a game-changer. This is what I mean when I say taking Jacksonville to the next level."
-Mayor Alvin Brown on new video boards at Everbank Field

Pretty sure Silver IS the West side of main street.  East side is still coming along nicely though, last that I checked.  Silver was always one of my favorite streets in all of SF.  Dead ends at the south into Klutho park with nice views of the City.  Although the whole n'hood is still recovering from the speculators' experiment several years ago.  Architecture has always been incredible, but the dry wood termites have not been kind to some of the neglected homes.  NW side of SF is also wonderful with lots of 20's Craftsman construction.  IMO
