Some of the ones in blue (proposed) have been proposed for too long. They should just be taken off the list as they will more than likely not happen.

As much as we want Jax to grow, it can't seem to get out of it's own way. I don't understand the big announcements of some projects and then the slow, quiet deflation as the air leaves the balloon. Do people just propose stuff for the sake of causing a stir? Or is there a legitimate, well-capitalized plan behind them? If this is the case, why the fizzle?  It just seems to happen ALL the time.

It's confusing how things operate here.
I could be wrong about that...it's been known to happen.

Or one of the neighborhood groups decides that car wash (literally) = prostitution and Veterans housing = child molesters.

Its largely due to the very low grade political 'leadership' we have had for a few decades.

Do we know what's proposed on the Baptist site in San Marco? I was able to find an article on the state convention's website about the pending sale of the property (says it should close by year's end), but nothing to identify the buyer/developer.

Do you believe that when the blue jay or another bird sings and the body is trembling, that is a signal that people are coming or something important is about to happen?

Then change it, run for city government.

Make a difference at the level that is a problem.

Of course, doing nothing is also a choice too.
