Come on UF. Enjoy your new Target Express, leave my Canes alone and let Richt bring back some swagger!  ;D ;D

QuoteThe University of Miami held their inaugural Paradise Camp over the weekend, which featured many former UM stars coming back to the school and lending a hand at the event.

According to former UM offensive lineman Brett Romberg, who worked the camp, an in-state rival was not pleased with the star power the Hurricanes had at Paradise Camp.

Romberg shared on the Zaslow, Romberg, and Amber Show on 790 The Ticket that the day of the camp, the Florida football program tried to turn UM in for violations.

According to Romberg, Florida called the NCAA 20 times on Saturday.

Romberg explained the situation on the show:

"The issue is that Florida deemed it an unfair advantage and they were trying to get us on a technicality of doing background checks. Everybody who participated in this camp had to have a background check. If you didn't do the background check, you weren't able to coach. A background check would allow you to interact with the kids on a coaching level. If you do not have your background check, you are considered a speaker. You are allowed to speak, but you aren't allowed to have interaction and give tips to the kids...They were crying because we are stealing recruits."

Lake, I saw where the Cane's stadium most likely wont be ready for the start of the season, and more specifically the showdown with reigning State Champion Seminoles.  It's being discussed moving that game to Orlando. You wont have far to drive and can probably get a seat ON the sideline.

If it goes to Orlando, I just might be there. The ass kicking coming FSU's way is long overdue.

If by "ass kicking" you mean losing by 21 as Dalvin Cook runs for 220 and 3 TD's I'd agree with you.

If it isn't ready for the FSU game, that would also mean it isn't ready for the first few Dolphins games.  Seems like the team owner would care about making sure that didn't happen.

Nah. More like Cook having just as much success as Sammie Smith's cocaine distribution business and Kaaya bolstering his lead in the Heisman race with a Ken Dorsey-like performance.
