Soul Food Kitchen plans expansion to meet rising demand

I recently stopped by for a plate of oxtails! Glad to see they're doing well and expanding.

Chef Celestia Mobley started working at The Soul Food Bistro, a restaurant owned by The Potter's House ministry, 18 years ago and has, since, overseen major growth.

Now, Mobley said more expansion is on the way, including a food truck and a third location. She said growth isn't limited there – the concept could even become regional in the future. The restaurant has two locations: a location on the Westside on Lenox Avenue and a location on the Southside on Atlantic Boulevard.

I think this place is not that special. I am happy to see their business expand however, that church does a lot for the City of Jacksonville.
