Looking For Photos of Jacksonville Terminal and Hotel Robert Meyer please?

Good day all!

Might anyone be able to guide me to some photos of the Railway Terminal when it was active in the sixties, or its ending days at the beginning of the seventies?

I'm also looking for some photos of the interior of the Hotel Robert Meyer, such as the Bali Hai Lounge, Atkins Pharmacy, and some of the lobby areas (preferably BEFORE it was decorated with the 'modern concept of purple and white plastic)....  I'm writing a small book on my youth when I lived between the Robert Meyer and the Ponte Vedra Club with my father after my parent's divorce.

And just out of curiosity; might anyone recall the name of the ocean liner that sat in the harbour off of Fr George for several years in the early seventies?

Actually, I failed to mention that I'm actually not in the states. I work in Transylvania Romania and The Republic of Moldova with victims of child-trafficking. Whilst my 'home' is technically the United Kingdom, I'm more in Eastern Europe these days. Ergo, it might be a bit of a challenge for me to get to the venue you suggested. However, I am indeed most grateful. Perhaps I can email these contacts and see whether they might be able to help.

Oh My Goodness! Thank you so very much indeed!    I don't wish to cause you work to do on my behalf. This is a project I've slowly worked on for years, so I'm sure it won't require any expediency on my part!  I'm sure you will be richly rewarded in Heaven for your kindness, - just probably not by the website MetroJacksonville.  :-)    Nevertheless, I'm very grateful.

I'll place my nose to the grindstone and see if I can elicit a response from them first. And should I face any challenges, I shall most certainly contact you. Of course, I shall happily pay for any transportation costs or related expenses.

I'm sure we have several images of the terminal and Robert Meyer in older articles on this site and in our photo gallery. Unfortunately, I can't pull them at the moment but do a search for Jacksonville Terminal, Downtown hotels or Robert Meyer Hotel and you may get lucky. I'm sure Ocklawaha has his own collection of Jax Terminal photos throughout the years as well.
