Start-up retailer at the Jacksonville Landing leaves for The Avenues Mall

Elevate your Style is headed from downtown to the Avenues.

Michael Cobb said that by quadrupling the space he expects the sales volumes to more than quadruple as the new location will also increase the foot traffic the store experiences and be around similar businesses.

"The Landing was more touristy slash eatery," he said. "We wanted to be around other retailers."

The pair closed up shop at the Landing on Dec. 31 after signing a year lease.

Ramona Cobb said that she's excited about moving to The Avenues Mall as she's had to put up a plastic curtain to prevent customers from walking in and attempting to shop as the store front is readied.

"We expect to do really really well," she said. "It's a better market as opposed to Downtown."
