QuoteFidelity Investments will bring 300 jobs and invest $13 million as part of a local expansion, in exchange for $2.61 million in state and local incentives.
The Boston-based company is making the capital commitment, almost 10 years after it first opened a local center. The expansion would push its local workforce to about 1,100 employees.

Average salary for the created jobs will be $64,300.

In return, the company would receive $488,000 in incentives from the city — a Recaptured Enhanced Value grant of $128,000 and a Qualified Targeted Industry grant of $360,000.

The remaining $2.13 million comes from the state.

"This is just a really big win for our city today," said Mayor Lenny Curry at a news conference announcing the deal.

Legislation is being filed this afternoon for introduction to City Council on Nov. 10.
