Lesson of the day. Don't mess around with a crazy dude's ex-wife. Especially, if you two are supposed to be boys!

Knick coach Derek Fisher was attacked in Los Angeles by NBA bad boy Matt Barnes, who drove 95 miles to "beat the s—t out of him" when he found out Fisher was romancing his estranged wife, sources told The Post on Wednesday.

The 6-foot-7 Barnes, who now plays for the Memphis Grizzlies, made a fast break from his team's California training camp Saturday when he was tipped off that Fisher was making time with sultry "Basketball Wives LA" star Gloria Govan in the home Barnes once shared with her.
The NBA is investigating the brawl.

Sources told The Post that Barnes became incensed when his 6-year-old twin sons, Carter and Isaiah, called to tell him that Fisher was at the house.

"Barnes went crazy. He got in his car and went to the house and went after Fisher," one source said. "Matt then drove down there to beat the s–t out of him."
Fisher and Barnes were teammates on the LA Lakers for two seasons.

Or, don't treat a grown woman like a piece of property. Barnes had no right driving down there, it's not his business what she's doing or who she's with.

Dat side boob.

D Fish has more, and is responsible for more jewelry than Matt Barnes will ever see, unless he is sitting next to Fish. Barnes was a decent swing man that played his role. Fish kept the team together during the early 00s championship run while Shaq & Kobe kept the drama going. And when he played with Matt, he was flying back and forth to be there for his daughter's eye surgeries and didn't miss games.

Sad to hear Derek and his wife broke up, they went through a lot. Matt needs to work on his transition game and get his head right. He drove all that way, had all that time to think and still went up in somebody's house to create some drama.
