Former Club TSI to reopen as upscale bar, club

Sounds exciting:

Jon Mroz was planning to open a venue in the Riverside area when he decided to take another look at the space that Club TSI was vacating.

Mroz, who had played at Club TSI throughout the years and knew owners Jason Grimes and Ryan Rummel, saw an opportunity for expansion at the Bay Street building.

"We took a look at it and talked to everyone at the city. Whereas we were getting a lot of pushback from RAP [Riverside and Avondale Preservation], the city said they would help us," Mroz said. "We had support from day one."

Now, Mroz is working to convert the building into an upscale space with two main parts: Elements, a bistro that will be located towards the front and serve craft cocktails, and Myths, a nightclub that will have space for live performance.

Much better solution than trying to open in Riverside.  It wasn't just RAP that opposed his opening on Park Street it was also the surrounding neighborhood that had to put up with the activities at Element that spilled outside.

I don't understand.  Anyone living near King St. is dealing with "activities...spilled outside."  How would this have been different?
