Jaguars owner Shad Khan moves up 30 spots on list of richest Americans

Jaguars owner Shad Khan has moved up 30 spots in Forbes' annual 400 Richest People In America list.

Khan's net worth is listed at $5.6 billion, good for No. 84 on the list, up from No. 114 last year.

The magazine said the Jaguars' value has increased by 53 percent in 2015 (up to $1.48 billion).

Khan is fourth among NFL owners, behind Paul Allen (Seattle Seahawks, No. 26 at $17.8 billion), Stan Kroenke (St. Louis Rams, No. 63, $7.6 billion) and Stephen Ross (Miami Dolphins, No. 71 at $6.7 billion).

The richest listed U.S. sports team owner is Steve Ballmer of the Los Angeles Clippers ($21.6 billion). The only other non-NFL owner ahead of Khan is Micky Arison of the Miami Heat ($7.7 billion).
