UNF Mens Basketball 2015-16

UNF Mens Basketball schedule has been released and once again the Osprey's will be taking their show to the road to start the season against the power conferences.

They start the season against Illinois, their last opponent on their Big Ten arrangement. Due to renovations at the U of I Assembly Hall the actual game will be played at the Prairie Capital Convention Center in Springfield, IL.

After 2 games at home against Texas-Rio Grande and Edward Waters, they once again go back on the road for a tough pre-conference schedule in the Brooklyn Hoops Holiday Invitational.

First off will be Rick Pitino and the Louisville Cardinal in Louisville.
Followed by Saint Louis University Billikens in St Louis.

Then 2 games in West Hartford, CT against Hartford University and then against St Francis of NY. St Francis of NY was the team many thought UNF was going to play in Dayton last year. SF NY is reknown for their 3 point shooting.

UNF will come home for a game against local NCAA Div 3 team, Trinity Baptist before going back on the road to face LSU and Dayton.

A 4 game home stand will follow against Coastal Georgia, Florida International, Austin Peay and Florida A&M.

Back again on the road to face Arkansas, VCU and Eastern Michigan before starting the Atlantic Sun schedule against Stetson.

JU at UNF on Jan. 9th
New A-Sun team NJIT in Newark, NJ on Jan.23rd
NJIT at UNF on Feb 18th.
UNF at JU to complete the A-Sun schedule on Feb 25th.

The Ospreys have a lot of team experience returning from their NCAA team last year. While the schedule is tough, it will get them ready to complete another first, repeat as A-Sun Basketball champions.
