City Council meetings are the only opportunities for Jacksonville's public to speak to the city's politicians,

Meh, maybe if you want to see the entire council in 1 place, but council members are very approachable in a 1 on 1 setting. Just need to contact their assistant and be nice and ask for a 1 on 1, or live down the street from them and see them on a regular basis....Jim Love.

There are many council members, most are gone now, who were not approachable and had forgotten why people first elected them.
