Oh my God, I FOUND the tourism my friends... The Little Rock Car carried 5oo people by noon and had over 200 after dark!
Memphis, was standing room only, a streetcar every 2 or 3 minutes on 3 lines. Clubs, blues, food, entertainment and trolleys in a city as alive as Jax on the evening of the 4th of July.

My I have your attention please...

The Kansas City-Florida Special is now arriving at Gate D, Track number 7, from New Orleans, Dallas, Ft. Worth, Plano, Oklahoma City, Ft. Smith, Little Rock and Memphis.

HONEY I'M HOME!

Having traversed scorching arid plains, mountain forests and countless miles of jointed rail, the Jacksonville Transit Monster is safely back in the car-barn. Over 25 hours on streetcars and Light Rail, under cars, in the barns, on top, in the cab, controllers, and otherwise conversing with fellow Transit Wizards, I am loaded with ideas, and ready to highball. I'll put together a full report soon.
