I think I found our future residence off of US 90 in Arlington.  ;)

Seriously though, where's my hometown with this feature? WTF? Yeah...Columbia has got SOOO much more to see...

Google Maps updated their aerial photos of Downtown Jax with very recent images.

Looking at the courthouse construction site, they must have taken these in the last month or two.

Looks like it was taken on a weekday as well, so if Stephen or tufsu wants to count the cars, they can.

Yeah, they updated a lot of cities, including my hometown. You can see the freckin scar the tornado left across the city!

I noticed that google has added Gainesville to the cities with public transit maps.  I wish they would add Jax too!

Based on the trees at my house, I think the pics were taken in March or early April

and no, I'm not counting the cars  ;)

Saw some glare, especially from white roofs and concrete surfaces, in pictures I looked at.  They should have used a filter.  Otherwise, great pix.

Had to ahve been because my house has a bare spot where the Live Oak was taken out in December and I can even see the freeze damage on a few of my palms.

They did the same for the Nashville area, and possibly the whole country.

Gotta love the use of satellites.

Google Street Views has even gotten many many rural towns, though they are probably updated much less.  I have used Street Views to look at investment properties in several VERY small TN towns.  It is pretty amazing and I actually do not find it that creepy.

Jacksonville has public transport?

The Nocatee infrastructure is finally visible too.  I hate to say it, but based on the suburban developmental trends in norther St. Johns, that area is going to be the next Palm Coast but better planned.
