Spotlight

Question: I live downtown and noticed near the shipyards a giant spotlight shining at night. I first noticed it Thursday night around 10pm and assumed it was for the NCAA games for some Jacksonville flair. But it was moving in a constant motion like other ones. And at one point it stopped and was pointed at the Bank of America building for awhile. Last night around 11pm while heading home coming across the Arlington Expressway bridge I saw it again and decided to see what it was. It was coming from the actual shipyard on the left of WJCT. Police had the studio parking lot blocked and the spotlight didn't look to be apart of WJCT. I still don't know what or why the light was there. Does anyone know?
