They may not like paying their bills but it's not stopping them from expanding. They've signed a letter of intent to open at the former headquarters of J.P. Morgan & Co.

I cant find anything on Lat360 not paying bills. Where was that reported?

They recently went public so being slow on AP is a material item to a shareholder.

Looks like another genius PR move a la the Haydon Burns Library scam. I'll believe it when they serve the first mediocre cocktail.

The biggest changes we have seen recently is the move to a subscription model for access to the venues.

When we recently went into the movie theater, all the seats and tables except the back row were all carded as "reserved". When we asked what gives, they said that they don't sell individual tickets to the movies now, they only sell memberships. You have to join and call the Lat360 concierge and make your reservation for a seat. (you can order off the menu as well and have it ready at showtime)

It's a different biz model, so we bit to see how well it works.  You also got passes to the comedy club, 1 hour of bowling and a $20 card to the game room. We frequent about once a month and for now it looks like a good value.

However, I did notice some differences in the venue on the last visit.  Many (not all) of the arcade machines are malfunctioning or were broken in some way. This is somewhat typical in high volume arcades, but the first time I had seen this at Lat360. The help seemed a little frustrated with everything. Did it reflect poor management? Not that I could tell, it was just noticeable this time.
