On Friday, December 5th, Veterans United Craft Brewery will revive the spirit of celebration for the day that marked the repeal of the 18th Amendment by hosting a Post-Prohibition Party at the taproom.

Join us for a rollickin' good time as we feature a set of bootlegging bluegrass from Canary in the Coalmine and the best guitar, banjo, and fiddle players of Caint Never Could. Smoke It Up Barbecue Food Truck will be here with an array of classic, smoked meats that will perfectly pair with the small batches being tapped for the occasion.

We will release Bootleg Ale, brewed from an old American ale recipe using six-row barley, rye malt, corn, wheat, and a generous addition of old-recipe molasses; and The O. G. Lager, a golden beauty brewed from a pre-Prohibition-style recipe with six-row barley, corn, and crystal malt, and fermented at a nice, cool temperature.

Everyone who dons their best flapper and dandy duds may be entered in our raffle drawing to win a growler of one of these limited brews. We'll also have a bunch of nifty photo props set up near the brewery viewing area, so snap a photo, tag us on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram with #VUBREW, and show us your best swilling pose in honor of the 21st Amendment.

There's no secret password or cover required for this evening. Just grab some friends, shake a leg, and hustle down the winding path of Western Way for some great music, tasty BBQ, and cool craft beer. Invite your friends and RSVP here to keep in tune with all the latest updates on this shindig.
