This same company is building a 365 unit project where I live, in Greenville, SC.  Downtown Greenville to be more specific.  They just resubmitted their plans to the city, in order to add 43 more units to the project.  See the link.

There are about 1,700 rental units under construction, recently approved or recently completed in DT Greenville.

It's not just Baltimore and Philadelphia that are seeing their strongest growth in the urban core.

I've always enjoyed by trips to Greenville.  Seems like a fun small sized city.  Downtown is pretty cool in the summer.

One can only hope a traffic study was done as a precursor for the permit.  Urban sprawl still goes unaddressed here in our fair city.  Commutes along J. Turner Boulevard are only becoming more congested and as far as I'm concerned this will only ad to a problem that continues to grow.  There seems to already be a glut of available apartments at this location.  There is a very interesting map over on Craigslist that gives you an indication of what's available.  There certainly isn't a shortage.
It's about more than community values, it's about the value of community.
