Looking for building materials to build a fort.

I don't get it - are we supposed to be making fun of these kids or their parents?

It's probably not very sanitary, but most of what boys do at that age isn't. This is just few young boys having some harmless fun, nothing wrong with this.

If that's the case, then I apologize, that's the way I saw it too. I wasn't sure if the subject was being sarcastic, hard to tell on these here intertubes.

I saw some activity in the dumpster and when I took a closer look I saw this little guy jump out. They grabbed their cardboard and ran across the street to build something I presume

It reminds me of my summer vacation when I ran wild and the world was my playground.

My totally meaningless fact of the day....I grew up there in old Durkeeville Apts back in the late eighties, Southland Waste Systems (SWS) was the company that took out the trash. Now SWS is called Republic Services.

Although probably not very sanitary, I applaude the imagination and creativeness to get the materials you need to have your fun....outside!  Good for these boys!!
