Then after they split in two they can split from the everglades no revenue there.  No matter how you divide it if you then compare the two halves one will generate more and one less. 

After Jax gets it's port deals, steals the rest of the cruise ship industry and gets our commuter rail we will want to split off on our own. OK thats not realistic but growth in the state seems to be shifting a little north.

Maybe they should become a part of Cuba; and after they have their freedoms squashed, and the whole area becomes 90% Latin, they'd (Americans living there) would be trying to move back to the real Florida.

What this cartoon fells to depict is the illegal immigrants in South Florida taking all our tax dollars to pay for their kids to go the school and so they all can get free healthcare, as well as not actually paying taxes themselves.

When they work illegaly, they have to pay all the same taxes out of their paychecks, but they can never get a tax refund, and they cant claim any of the ssi, social security or unemployment that those taxes are supposed to pay for.

You’re assuming a lot there.  1st. you’re assuming that I or others share the same responsibility as you.  Drug dealers and other shady characters including most politicians don’t pay taxes.   Next, the tax shelter was one of corporate America's biggest hidden profit centers in recent years. Shelters have become so lucrative that some experts estimate as much as $50 billion is lost to the U.S. Treasury each year. And ordinary taxpayers wind up footing the bill.

There is an SSN which some illegal use on their tax return hoping that by paying in they will get special treatment.  I think $50 million was reported on that number in 2000. 

So, as far as I’m concerned tax the hell out of South Florida to North Florida’s betterment.

I doubt that the majority are paid above the table.  But then again, neither of us has provided evidence for our statements.
