You can restate the same argument again...and again.  It is still false.  The meaning of the original writers is clear from their own words.  The word "arms" has been clearly interpreted by the USSC.  Current law reflects the same.  You can dance on the word gun all that you want to, nothing in the real world will change.

And yes, I am a Constitutionalist.  The document is written in plain english and clearly establishes the make up and limits of our Federal government.  Modern legislators would be wise to emulate the men who created this great document.

great.  so underline the word gun.

so.  no.  you can't?

I am not going to keep explaining the Bill of Rights to you.  This has been done over and over again.  You obviously do not understand the meaning of the words.  (or the silliness of your argument.)

The word "arms" is inclusive.  How hard is that?  For those of you who can't, or won't, read the words of the Founding Fathers, the USSC has even defined the word for you.

I refer you, once again, to the words of a man you highly admire  ;)

Son, if you can't say it in plain, simple english, you shouldn't be saying it.

We are obviously getting nowhere.  We are wasting my time and electrons.  I'll just agree that we disagree.

The words "abortion" and "contraception" also appear nowhere in the Constitution or the Amendments thereto.  Nevertheless, the Supreme Court has found a Constitutional right to each.

Actually this is incorrect.  What the Supreme Court found was a right to privacy.

It should be noted that the word privacy is not in the Constitution or Amendments either, yet the USSC found that right to exist.

C'mon Stephen. Are you really trying to act blind to the fact that arms are weapons and weapons include firearms, small arms, etc.? You're REALLY jumping through the mental hoops today.

I highly suggest you look up and read DC v. Heller.

What about concealed/disguised arms (guns, weapons, non-nunchaku)?

A common mistake people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools.
