During one spark I had a conversation with someone working for the Atkins group. Needless to say it happened to be inside the Barnett building. I through the comment out that I liked how the building looked, but the one I thought looked the best was FNB aka the marble bank. I mentioned how much I would have rather seen the inside of that one. The man with a grin stated to me that in may I don't remember the date. Either the 1st or 7th of may. They will be having a private event in there and around 7pm they plan on letting the public peek around in there. If anyone knows the actual date feel free to share. I'll make some Cal's Monday and try to find out just thought I would throw that out for all of the photo/architecture junkies out there. :-)

May 1st (this Thursday) - the Cultural Council of Jax Awards Banquet.  The banquet is sold out, but they are going to have a street party outside, maybe they will let people into the Marble Bank after the banquet.

Thanks. I wasn't sure of the event name that was mentioned, just figured I would pass it on if someone knew more details to elaborate. Just might be cool to check it out before it gets torn apart on the inside.
