Hey everyone,

Most of you, if you know me, know me as the guy who is always promoting an art show. What you may not know about me is that two and a half years ago I didn't know the first thing about Jacksonville. I only came up to Jacksonville for a two month digital art internship. What was meant to be a 2 month stay became my transplant to this new, assumed home city. I've grown to love Jacksonville, and I have found success here as an artist and I could not be more thankful to the community for accepting an outsider here.

After two years of Art Walks, hanging art in local businesses, craft exchanges, art parties and pop-up gallery shows, I feel like the next step for me as a creator is to open a gallery. I envision an avant-garde/lowbrow gallery, a place free of pretense and elitist mentality; where the outcast artists and those not classically trained can call home.

I knew I wanted to crowdfund this gallery, because crowdfunding is the fastest way to raise that kind of money, but I also know that you've got to have LEGIT reward perks if you want your campaign to be successful. So I came up with the idea to do a series of art trading cards, think baseball cards but with the art of local artists on the cards instead of athletes. I'm going to print a professional series of these trading cards, and use packs of the cards as reward perks (as well as many other awesome perks). So I hope you will take a moment to take a look at my campaign, watch the video, and if you can afford it, give it your financial support. If you can't afford a reward perk, I completely understand, but remember that even donating a single dollar to the campaign can help our campaign make it to the popular page on Kickstarter which will help us reach a wider audience and even hit the big time.
