News outlets are reporting that there will be more discussions regarding the new bus terminal and the JRTC.   Apparently it will include the possibility of including rail sooner rather than later.  Does anyone have any further information on this?

No. Where exactly did you hear this information from?

I don't think they mentioned "trains" - just JTA accelerating their bus transfer area - basically relocating the Rosa Parks function to the "JRTC".  And if they did mention trains, I think the reporter was extrapolating.

Right now, Greyhound wants the JTA bus transfer facility built, it would provide a connection between the Skyway and the Greyhound station.  Rail is a long way off.

the article mentions the possibility of moving up the rail terminal portion.  Was hoping that is true.

JTA probably won't do it but they could easily retrofit their parking lot adjacent to the skyway station (where Megabus stops) into a cheaper transit center and scrap the thing between that block and Greyhound.

Seems like a positive step, forward thinking. Good to see the agencies cooperating. The proposed area also has so much more space.
