How to find the first unread post within a thread?

I've searched and searched...but cannot seem to find a way for me to "skip" to the first unread post within a thread.  I read a lot of the forum posts and sometimes cannot remember the last post within a thread I read.  So I have to scroll through all the pages til I see what looks like a new post.

Does this forum have the "first unread post" capability and I'm just not seeing it?  Thanks!

When I come to the site, I go to "Show Unread Posts Since Last Visit" - that link should be right under where it say "Welcome Your Name"
Then, click on the NEW button in the thread(s) you want to check out.

Welcome and Good Luck.

On the right side of the 'Last Post' column when viewing a board there is a small icon with a right arrow. That will take you to the last unread post.

Yes, I see that, and it takes you to the unread thread listings, not unread posts within a thread.  But if I've already read some of the posts, how do I get the the first unread MESSAGE/POST within that discussion thread?  Some of the threads have many pages and I don't remember which page was the last I read.

Well, that actually takes you to the last post within the thread, whether it's read or not.

Any other suggestions?  The site obviously knows if you've visited all the pages of a thread as there is no "new" icon in that case.  So since this is the case, is there a way to have a "View First Unread Post" within a discussion thread?

Thanks!!

Click the orange 'new' icon next to each thread.

AND WE HAVE SUCCESS!!!!!  Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I never even knew that icon was "clickable"!  I always thought it was just a way to tell me there were new posts...  wow, so simple yet so hidden.  Maybe MetroJax can change the verbiage from "new" to "first unread post" or just "unread posts"?   :P
