It is said there is nothing new under the sun.
Lights and Cameras catch the action, and record history.

This thread is meant to discuss and share ideas we may have regarding new and or somewhat unconventional methods which can be implemented to proactively build bonds with our neighbors.

Regardless of if your neighbor rents or owns, we all like to feel safe in and around our homes.

This discussion is not about a personal preference to carry or use a firearm for personal safety.

This is about peace and perhaps programming events which activate the common spaces in our neighborhoods.

For instance community gardens and multi-family yardsales work wonders toward getting neighbors to meet and learn who does and does not belong at which house and eventually on what block.

Maybe we CAN band together and find participants willing to be block captains throughout the urban core.

Let's try!

If you are not sure which sector you live in, contact your local police sub-station and introduce yourself, provide you address and find out where your group meets monthly.

See it Say it Stop it is not a joke.

When a group of armed and desperate violent and petty offenders are caught and stopped from continuing their reign of terror over an otherwise quite, mostly peaceful, and enjoyable neighborhood, all involved can share in the collective pat on the pack for removing one more domestic enemy from the streets where our young ones deserve to grow up like kids. Youth is so fleeting.  If you would like to discover how easy it can be to take part in preserving our quality of life and resist its decline, join the PEACEABLE "good fight" and reach out to the Sheriffs Advisory Council and attend a meeting at no charge and check back in here from time to time or PM me.
