Here is a little piece in the Financial News and Daily Record, apparently it slipped under the radar but this is BIG for the industrial sector of the southeast and for Jaxport. Basically a bulk transfer facility functions like a well planned (note I didn't say the JRTC) intermodal passenger terminal except that it is for all types of cargo, bulk, liquids, aggregate etc. Keystone placing this terminal on the shipping channel with on dock rail and a truck trans loading facility will be a major impetus in expanding our manufacturing base. Something as simple as a large load of plastic pellets could spell hundreds of jobs making pipe, sprinklers etc... I don't think even the FN&DR has a clue as to where this could lead. VERY positive news.
