Hey did we agree to a date and time? I was trying to see if I could make it.

Doesn't matter to me. I'll be in Central Florida. All I need to know is date, time and who's on parole.

We may want to pick an alternative to SG if it closes at 9pm.

What about Kickbacks? Don't they close late?

The food isn't special but ya know....

Need to be sure it's somewhere with reliable wifi, does KB even have public wifi?

They do. I've used it at about all hours of they day and night. Don't judge.

Lake - Unless I missed it, I still need a keeper from you.

Everyone else, I have your keepers and will update once I hear from Lake.

The draft has 12 rounds with 14 picks a round for a total of 168 picks. With a minute and half for each pick the draft could go 4 hours. I don't think it actually will take even half of that time since some people will likely auto draft and not everyone will take the whole time. However social grounds might be iffy unless we back up the time a little bit to around 630.

My keeper will be Kenyan Drake.

changed my mind - would like to keep Drew Brees - but of course I have a question - he was my 3rd round pick this year but seems to be averaging around 58 in Yahoo (which would be 4th round) - so would I lose my 3rd round or 4th round pick?

Settle down there Steve.  ;)  I love my Monte' Cristo with a side order of Lumpia, just like everyone else does.  I've just never thought to check for wifi.  No hate here.

It appears that in 2016 I pulled a Roger Goodell and made the unilateral change to base the draft order on the results of the playoffs. That goes for both the championship and consolation brackets. Picks 1-6 are based on the where the teams finish in the consolation bracket and picks 7-12 are reverse order of the championship bracket. This gives the incentives for teams not in the playoffs to play out the season.

I will admit that the original rules of the league did say that this wouldn't be the how the draft order would be decided and we would just use reverse order of standings. I think I started doing it this way because my other keeper league operates this way and I just assumed both did. Since we have been doing it this way the last couple years, and it does have the incentive for non-playoff teams to keep playing, I will proceed with this method.

I did in 2017 state the draft order process when I posted the draft order and no one had issues or at least noticed the change.

Brees is currently going 50.7 according to Yahoo which would be round 5. So you would give up your 5th round pick for him.

I pretty much  only do auction drafts now which do take awhile which had prompted my length of draft concern. But now that I am back to thinking about snake drafts, I can't imagine this draft even comes close to 2 hours. I bet it is closer to 1 than 2.

I think we do social grounds at 7. If they kick us out, we will have to just mooch their wifi outside to finish the draft. We will start at 7 exactly. So get there early enough to setup.

In case its an issue for anyone, do they have places to plugin?

Gurley isn't a keeper?!?!

and I thought JuJu was a 14 round....

I fixed it. I had your previous keeper round for Hunt still in there. The image in my original post has been updated.

Addison could have kept Gurley for round 2 value but he has picked Brady as his keeper 7 years straight now.
