The little dig at Jerry Moran is understandable I suppose, as he is always there to receive it.  And the treatment of him suites the avowed purpose of the video series experiment.  Nothing wrong with a little satire.

However, I am still convinced that Moran is overall a very positive force in our city core.... not perfect by any means, as none of us are, but a very much needed asset, an overall draw for the core.  Imagine Laura Street at night without La Cena?  He is the lone star on Laura in the evening.

LoL, split - No comment.  Actually Lake the whole thread got way off track so maybe this was done solely to get it back on topic.

Here's a link to the rest of the discussion for those who were interested in it.  It has been moved to the feedback and suggestions subforum.

Have to agree with you on that Ron.  Actually I'm surprised La Cena hasn't spurred more activity into the later evening hours (9-11)

i barely ever notice la Cena--at night or otherwise.  it doesn't seem to me that he does any good at all.

So much of this is the fault of the Office of Economic Dev (EOD),aka, JEDC that was charged under Charter and Statute to take care of things like this but they are too busy giving our tax money away while schmoozing Billionaires and Billion dollar companys.

There is sooooo much the that agency can do for this city AND port under the law and THEY ARE NOT DOING IT!

Why is that?

I do not understand how one of the city's most visible public spaces is allowed to decay the way we have allowed Hemming Park/Plaza to do so.  One good thing is that many solutions are possible and within reach.  We just have to take those steps forward!
