Mobility Fee Foe gets named as prez & CEO of Jax Chamber

I was at the JAX 2025 meeting on Saturday, They announced davis as the ceo; and people clapped their hands. I just stood there silent and shaking my head. I really wanted to boo, but I thought that would damage any future I might have in aiding the city's progress. That is, if there will be any progress. I'm losing my faith in JAX2025 unfortunately, I think it's starting to look more like lip service, another way for the city to say well, we tried again but the majority of citzens just don't want much change. I hope I'm wrong.

Me three was there and if it wasn't for the new guy Vitti showing up after he got LOST going over the bridges and then just bringing the whole house down with his remarks there would be absolutely no VISION going forward.

Ditto the above, actually I wandered off while he was speaking with one of the guys from First Coast News. We hung at the snack bars and neither offered 'cheers' for the GOB.  This was really a slap in the face to everyone with a vision for 2025, rather like telling us; "Y'all did all this work but when it comes down to it, the GOB's still rule."

huh?  Davis wasn't even there...and Mallot spoke for all of about 2 minutes.

Plus, one of the 10 focus areas was the Economy....and the Chamber/JAXUSA was chosen as the speaker for that
