Slow Down at Intuition Ale Works on May 3

Tickets are now on sale for Slow Food First Coast’s annual Slow Down “food fair” at Intuition Ale Works on Friday, May 3.

The event features locally-crafted brews and appetizers prepared with local ingredients by some of Jacksonville’s top chefs. Participating restaurants include 29 South Restaurant, bb’s, Bistro Aix, Black Sheep Restaurant, The Floridian, Gas Full Service Restaurant, Pastiche, Restaurant Orsay, The Ritz-Carlton Amelia Island and Taverna.

Food artisans include Community Loaves, Early Risers Artisan Bread, Fretto Prits, Gayla’s Grits, Grassroots Natural Market, Glades Ridge Goat Dairy, Heritage Hen Farm, Karma Acres Farm, KYV Farm, Meteor Street Produce and The Veggie Bin.

Tickets ($15) â€" good for entrance, food samples and one pint of beer â€" for the 6 p.m. event benefit Slow Food First Coast and are available at slowdownatintuition2013.eventbrite.com

Checked this event out last week; it was fantastic.  Great food samples, great people, great event (even with the rain).  The beer lines were long, but other than that, it was awesome.  Definitely recommend checking it out next year!!

Glad you guys had fun, it's definitely one of my favorite events we host at the brewery.

The quality of the food was particularly good this year and both Hawkers Asian Street Fare and the new Ritz-Carlton Amelia Island food truck debuted at the event.

Outside the Den did a cool re-cap of the evening and the event will also be featured on I Know Jax on CW 17 this Saturday at 8pm.
