Rand has had his fair share of foot in mouth moments, but this has been a thing of beauty. Hopefully this will wake up a few people.

I have a lot of respect for him for doing a real "old fashioned" fillabuster.

I have grave concerns about the balance of power in our country right now.  Not at all happy with what I am seeing and both parties are currently failing the citizens.  Not good!

What Id like to know is where are the goddammed Democrats during this filibuster?

Ron Wyden, who suddenly went up a notch in my opinion, is one of a handful of people who supported Rand's filibuster and asked the same questions.

But where are the other dems?

No American, much less an American president needs this kind of power and its not just a dangerous slippery slope.  It is the actual bottom of the valley.

What arrogant nonsense is this?  An American President has the right to sneak up and kill and American Citizen without due process?

Pretty much evil incarnate and anti democracy.

This stuff needs to be put to bed and with a quickness.

Bridge Troll, Notnow, do you still think there was no problem when the last president suspended habeus corpus?

It is immensely galling to have the dems just stfu because they don't want to criticize their own party's president.

Shameful.

The country should be proud of Rand Paul today.

It is a complete shame that neither party will criticize the President when it is their party in power.   Everyone should be criticizing the President and AG when they are proposing to deny American citizens due process.

Both parties are also over the top at times with their criticism, but in this case I think the criticism is completely justified.

I don't understand how more people are not concerned about this whole drone situation.

For the AG to come out and say that is a little more than concerning.

Slippery slope.
