Lane Closures

Is anyone else annoyed at the excessive lane closures on almost all of Jacksonville's major roadways? It seems ridiculous to have so many projects going on at once.  The Matthews bridge is closed half the time, The Dames Point bridge has at least one lane closed. I-10/I-95 both have these lane closures close to every night of the week.

Well the I-95 closures don't seem too bad. It's well past rush hour, and I've been through the area several times without issue. That stretch of concrete really needed the work.

The Mathews closures are annoying but they've done a good job of doing it when they say they will... When they painted the Hart I found they'd close early and open late.

I dunno why they're replacing the barrier on the Dames point but I don't expect them to do it while traffic is flying past 2 feet away.

It's not like they're closing the Hart/Mathews/Main/Acosta/Fuller Warren all at once. Seems like all of this together would only be annoying if you drove every corner of Jax in one day. I'd rather have them close the bridge than have it fall into the river.
