Do you believe that when the blue jay or another bird sings and the body is trembling, that is a signal that people are coming or something important is about to happen?

These renderings are about a year and a half old.  No idea if they've changed since then.

The project is getting back on track.  The main delay has been with permitting and modifying the existing submerged lands leases.  To get the leases modified, the upland property owners have to all agree.  Herding cats best describes this effort.

The renderings are still accurate.

It all looks like more blah, a typically 'way to conservative' Jacksonville plan that makes no bold statements about a very beautiful urban core. Yes, it is an improvement, but creativity appears to be missing. Where are the exhibits of local history? Where are the bronze statues of famous and infamous Jaxsons? Where is the Schweeb bicycle Monorail system? Where is the water screens? Where is the fishing pier? Colored bricks and wrought iron railings will be an improvement, but then how many tourists or visiting businessmen will get off the interstate to see colored bricks and wrought iron? We have got to do better.

The legislation is 2014-190 and there is a Public Hearing tonight before the full Jacksonville city council.

The 4/2/14 Noticed meeting by Dist. 14 Jacksonville city councilman Jim Love by a constituent on an issue not in his district led to a very interesting line of questioning on the topic of the submerged sovereign land lease and it's potential role in how we can open this River Downtown for everyone. The topic was New Docking Rules. Congratulations councilman Jim Love.

The impacted area was in District 4. Councilman Redman is the Chair of Waterways and has been extremely involved along with Scott Wilson in attending all the meetings on this issue. There is a full meeting of the Jacksonville Waterways Commission on 4/9/14 and will a spark now be provided to everyone how our River will be finally opened up for everyone? Haven't seen an agenda yet. Has anyone?

Does a hand launch kayak SUP (Stand Up Paddleboard) area require a submerged sovereign land lease?

Just asking. A DIA Board member at a noticed meeting mentioned a potential kayak launch next to MOSH. Why not?

A potential kayak , SUP (Stand Up Paddleboard) hand launch at the end of a completed Southbank Riverwalk next to the JEA property. Why not? Public, Private, Partnership. Will the next level include you?

Will there be a FIND update at the 4/9/14 Jacksonville Waterways Commission meeting? We are so LOST.

DIA board meeting tomorrow. 2014-190 was moved out of Finance and is now ready for a full vote by the Jacksonville city council. Will the CRA open the river immediately?

Still have an open contest if anyone can take a picture of the new signage that was never before Waterways and the entire Waterways Commission was kept in the dark. if you post it I'll treat you to Chopstick Charley's and we will use UBER.

Palms Fish Camp any news on this Backroom deal?
Have a surplus JEA house next to Exchange Club Island to sell.
