Lots of cops in 5 points?

Just drove over to carmines and back from San Marco, on the way there we passed an unmarked cop sitting on the Fuller Warren with his lights on, another unmarked cop across park at the bottom of the off ramp just sitting in a parking lot with is lights on, and driving through 5 points saw 3 or 4 more marked cars just driving around (no lights).  Then on the way back coming through 5 points again on park we passed 4 more marked cars just between Margaret and post!  Then a firetruck and ambulance blowing through right after them.  Was something going on?

Maybe traffic management for a HUGE Harley ride/rally that just passed my place on Bay St, clearly headed for the stadium.  Hundreds of bikes.

$115 tickets for your tint being too dark....and they have some sort of bogus hocus pocus device to measure light ..in what conditions?Overcast?..sunny?
$100+ seat belt tickets....yes I know,but wouldn't $50 be more civil?
Pulling over Bicyclists on the side walk for $45+ headlight tickets...and then if not paid they suspend your drivers licence.(Uh..I was on a bike on the side walk..) My car was parked and you bastards suspend my licence before I can contest the ticket?.

Last time I got written a headlight ticket, the officer arbitrarily wrote the amount in....was he following a chart?...see what I mean.
This is where an intelligent community should speak up..
Rumor has it Rutherford is pissed he isn't getting the 6 figure of seed money he asked for and is taking it out on folks that look like they will pay an exorbitant fine..because WE HAVE TO to keep working and doing our normal lives.
Thugs don't pay their bills and are a danger to these officers....it's a lot easier to pull over a car full of Tax Payers from Ortega or Riverside.
